Our Nitrogen Generator for is IVF is part of our Nevis range - a flexible and 
expandable  state-of-the-art product which is capable of producing the purest supply nitrogen on demand. Manufactured using Pressure Swing Adsorption (PSA) technology our Nitrogen Generators provide the ideal performance, efficiency and reliability required in IVF and Stem Cell Research.

Our units have been designed to be unique to the sector with additional internal storage and capacity for external storage as well. Our latest introductions to the system includes options for an oxygen analyser for up to the minute records of purity being provided to the incubators and other equipment.

Each of our systems include the option to pair with an automatic change over unit. These units ensure seamless transition to backup gas supplies in the unlikely event that there is a disruption in supply.

How it works:

 

Air from an external source enters the generator via a 0.01-micron filter [1] that removes contaminants and bulk moisture via an integrated auto drain. When the control system assesses that more nitrogen is required, the solenoid valve [2] is opened and pressure is allowed to build in the column [4] containing Carbon Molecular Sieve (CMS) and a residue moisture catcher [3].This sieve adsorbs the oxygen and leaves the dry nitrogen free to flow through the non-return valve into the direction of the variable reservoir capacity (VRC) [7] Following on from this the Nitrogen is allowed to flow to the application via another 0.01-micron filter [8] and pressure and flow regulators [9].The trapped oxygen is meanwhile filtered out through the exhaust valves [6]

Our Generator boasts a 99.9995% purity of nitrogen on demand. Each high purity nitrogen generator in our series can be run from and external source of compressed air or can be built with an integral compressor. Using an external air source provides almost silent operation while an integral compressor allows the system to run as a complete stand-alone solution.

The Nevis IVF has been designed to be as compact as possible with the ability to fit under any size of workbench. The unit has also been built on a modular design to allow for the capacity to be expanded upon if required. As with most of our products, there is the option for bespoke models to fit your laboratories needs in terms of flow rates, purity levels, connection ports, integrated compressors and more.

 

Maintenance of your High Purity Nitrogen Generator is simple with the regular maintenance parts being easily accessible and for your peace of mind we offer a service package for our customers in the UK. For our international customers Apex has a wide range of service partners ready to tackle any issues you encounter.
