The Nevis Range is a flexible and expandable state-of-the-art product that simply produces nitrogen when you want it. 

 

The Nevis Nitrogen Generator is a discrete, efficient, modular system that produces ultra-high purity nitrogen only when you need it. The Nevis series uses PSA technology for superior performance and reliability.

 

A range of models, including options for built-in compressors, is available to cover a wide range of applications. The larger units are fitted with castors to allow them to be manoeuvred easily into position. Most models in the series will fit under a workbench.

The Nevis series of High Purity Nitrogen generator is a range of discrete,

efficient and modular Nitrogen generators that produce ultra-high purity nitrogen

only when you need it. Most models in the series will fit under a workbench.

All of the units in the range are built on a modular design to allow the capacity to be

expanded upon if required. As with most of our products, there is the option for

bespoke models which better fix your laboratories needs, flow rates, purity levels,

connection ports, integrated compressors and more are all to be customised to best

suit your requirements. 

 

Each high purity nitrogen generator in the series can be run from an external source of

compressed air or can be built with an integral compressor. Using an external air

source air will provide almost silent operation. An integral compressor allows the system

to run as a complete stand-alone solution.

Maintenance of your Nevis Series High Purity Nitrogen Generator is simple with all regular maintenance your generator will continue to deliver the gas you need for years to come, for additional peace of mind we offer a service package. Currently, this is only available to UK customers but if you are elsewhere, we have a network of service companies which we trust.

How it works:

 

Air from an external source enters the generator via a 0.01-micron filter [1] that removes contaminants and bulk moisture via an integrated auto drain. When the control system assesses that more nitrogen is required, the solenoid valve [2] is opened and pressure is allowed to build in the column [4] containing Carbon Molecular Sieve (CMS) and a residue moisture catcher [3].This sieve adsorbs the oxygen and leaves the dry nitrogen free to flow through the non-return valve into the direction of the variable reservoir capacity (VRC) [7] Following on from this the Nitrogen is allowed to flow to the application via another 0.01-micron filter [8] and pressure and flow regulators [9].The trapped oxygen is meanwhile filtered out through the exhaust valves [6]
